Bracelet «Slanting Lines» How to Bead

In making the bangle «Slanting line,» you’ll learn how to make a right-angle weave. It’s stitched with two needles. The weave is not difficult, but it will demand your attention. The beadwork will be flat if you choose beads of the same size and type. Round beads will especially look good.

Step 1: You will need:
— red, blue and green seed beads 9/0
— thin nylon thread
String two red, and then two blue beads onto the thread. Position them in the middle of the thread.

Step 2: Pass the left end of the thread through the last blue bead.

Step 3: String one blue bead onto the bottom end of the thread and two green beads onto the top one.

Step 4: Pass the bottom end of the thread through the last green bead from beneath. Tighten the thread well.

Step 5: String one green bead onto the bottom end and two red beads onto the top one.

Step 6: Pass the bottom end of the thread through the last red bead.

Step 7: String one red bead onto the bottom end and two blue beads onto the other end.

Step 8: Pass the bottom end of the thread through the last blue bead. See, we have already made three slanting lines.

Step 9: String one blue bead onto the bottom end and two green beads onto the other end.

Step 10: Pass the bottom end of the thread through the last green bead.

Step 11: Thread one green bead onto the bottom end and one red bead onto the other end.

Step 12:

Step 13: Make the line the same way until you get a bracelet long enough to put on.

Step 14: Twist the ends of the thread and tie a knot to secure the pattern.

Step 15: The bracelet «Slanting line» is complete!
