Madeleines

Step 1: Ingredients:
— 3 eggs
—200 g all-purpose flour
—1 sachet of baking power
—100-150 g sugar
—50 ml milk
—1 tsp honey
—200 g butter
—Half-lemon zest
—Nuts (optionally)
—Baking pans

Step 2: Melt the butter and let it cool slightly.

Step 3: Beat 3 eggs into a deep mixing bowl.

Step 4: Add sugar to the bowl with eggs.

Step 5: Whisk eggs and sugar until eggs are frothy.

Step 6: Mix milk, honey and butter.

Step 7: Stir the butter mixture and the egg mixture together.

Step 8: Add flour and baking powder.

Step 9: Add lemon zest and mix until just combined.

Step 10: Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator to rest for half an hour.

Step 11: Put the batter into a piping bag.

Step 12: Fill the baking pans with the batter.

Step 13: You can decorate the pastry with nuts or edible decorations.

Step 14: Bake the cookies in the preheated to 180˚C oven for 15-20 minutes.
