Long Island Iced Tea How to make Drinks

Step 1: You will need (for one portion):
— vodka — 15 ml / 0.5 oz
— light rum — 15 ml / 0.5 oz
— gin — 15 ml / 0.5 oz
— tequila — 15 ml / 0.5 oz
— Triple Sec syrup (or liqueur) — 15 ml / 0.5 oz
— cola — 50 ml / 1.7 oz
— cold black tea — 30 ml / 1 oz
— half of a lemon
— two lemon slices
— lime wedge
— sprig of mint
— ice cubes

Necessary utensils:
— highball glass
— shaker
— ice tongs
— ice bucket
— squeezer

Step 2: Fill the shaker with ice cubes.

Step 3: Pour 15 ml / 0.5 oz of light rum and 15 ml / 0.5 oz of vodka into the shaker.

Step 4: Pour 15 ml / 0.5 oz of tequila and 15 ml / 0.5 oz of gin into the shaker.

Step 5: Put half of a lemon into the squeezer and press to release juice into the shaker.

Step 6: Lock the shaker and shake it well, holding it with both hands by the bottom and by the cap. You should hold very tight or the shaker may open!

Step 7: Shake until the shaker has beads of sweat on the outside.

Step 8: Pour the mix from the shaker into the highball glass.

Step 9: Pour the Triple Sec syrup and cold black tea into the glass.

Step 10: Pour cola into the glass until it is almost full.

Step 11: Put two lemon slices and a lime wedge in the glass.

Step 12: Garnish with a sprig of mint and cocktail straws. The Long Island Iced Tea is complete!
