Secret letter 2 Brain teasers and fun science tricks

Step 1: What do you need to write a secret letter? Invisible ink! And what invisible ink is always at hand? Ordinary milk, of course! To write a secret letter you will need: a sheet of paper, a brush and milk. To read the letter–a candle.

Step 2: Pour some milk onto a plate. Wet the brush with milk and write your letter. Frequently moisten the brush with milk.

Step 3: Allow the milk to dry.

Step 4: The secret letter is ready!

Step 5: The time has come to reveal the secret letter. (Warning: children should continue only with adult supervision). Light the candle and, having flattened the letter, pass it carefully over the flame. You will see, as though by magic, that the writing becomes visible. Be sure to not hold the paper too close to the flame or in one place for too long–you risk burning up your letter!

Step 6: Now you can write secret letters to your friends or loved ones–or create an invisible treasure map!
