Crocodile How to Bead

Step 1: You will need:
— yellow and green seed beads 8/0
— a 47″ length of wire or nylon thread
Pick up one green bead to make the nose and position it in the middle of the thread. Bend the right end of the thread and thread two green beads onto it.

Step 2: Pass the left end through the previous two beads to secure them.

Step 3: Thread two yellow beads onto the right end and bend the thread to bring them to the bottom. Tighten the thread well.

Step 4: Secure yellow beads as previously.

Step 5: String three green beads onto the right end and secure them in the top layer.

Step 6: String three yellow beads for the bottom layer.

Step 7: Secure the beads.

Step 8: String four green beads for the top layer and secure them.

Step 9: Pick up four yellow beads for the bottom layer and secure them.

Step 14: Make the second leg the same way.

Step 15: Thread three yellow beads onto the right end and secure them in the bottom layer as previously.

Step 16: String four green beads for the top layer and secure them.

Step 17: String three yellow beads for the bottom layer.

Step 18: Make one row with five green beads and four rows with six green beads in the top layer, and one row with four yellow beads and four rows with five yellow beads in the bottom layer to finish the body.

Step 19: String four green beads onto the right end.

Step 20: Make the hind leg the same way as the foreleg.

Step 21: Make the second hind leg as previously.

Step 22: Pick up five yellow beads and secure them in the bottom layer.

Step 23: Make two rows with five and four green beads in the top layer, and two rows with four and three yellow beads in the bottom layer.

Step 24: Make the top row with three green beads and the bottom row with three yellow beads. Then make four top rows with two green beads and four bottom rows with two yellow beads. You’ll have the crocodile’s tail.
