Let’s draw the basic shapes and lines, applying a gentle pressure on the pencil. First draw a circle and a horizontal oval at the bottom of it — for the head. Then add a vertical oval for the body.
Draw two smaller ovals for the legs. They are a bit inclined downward. Draw two curved lines with ovals on the ends to trace the ears.
Trace the arms with some more ovals. The three ovals of the right arm form a line, curving downward in the middle.
Now we start drawing the contours, pressing on the pencil normally. Outline the head and the tummy, following the basic shapes. Mark the fur on the cheeks with toothed lines (the teeth slant downward).
Outline the right arm, connecting the basic ovals, and draw the hands. The right hand holds a daisy and with the left hand the rabbit picks a petal off the daisy. That is why his index finger on the left hand looks like a circle.
Draw the feet with three round toes on each. Mark the thickness of the toes with small dashes.
Now let’s draw the ears, following the basic lines and ovals. The bottom contour of each ear goes from the middle of the oval to the head. Trace the inside of the ears with drop-shaped lines.
The rabbit has turned its head to the left, so we will draw the face on the left part of the head. Start with two curved brows and then draw a round nose and two round eyes with pupils at the bottom (the rabbit looks at the daisy). The nose is closer to the left eye. The left cheek is smaller than the right.
Just a few details to add: a fuzzy forelock, some whiskers and the legs. Draw two half-ovals for the legs and trace small Y-shaped lines inside of each to mark the bends.
Finally, we will draw the daisy. It lacks some petals already, and the rabbit is going to pick one more — don’t forget to draw one petal under his finger. Erase all the basic shapes and lines before coloring.
Our rabbit is pink, and his face, pads and the inside of his ears are light-pink. The lightest value is the forelock. Add some shading on the bottom of the ears, on the chest, on the knees and on the toes. Trace over the contours again if they got blurred after coloring. The rabbit with a daisy is complete!
