Tropical wisdom says if you suffer from thirst, take a pineapple. And if you want to enhance its flavor, just add lemon juice. That’s how the Pineapple Sour cocktail is made. This is a light, cooling drink with sweet and sour taste.
You will need (for one portion):
— pineapple juice — 60 ml / 2 oz
— half of a lemon
— sugar syrup — 10 ml / 0.3 oz
— ice cubes
— crushed ice
— margarita glass
— measuring cup
— ice tongs
— ice bucket
— ice scoop
Fill the margarita glass with crushed ice to cool it.
Fill the shaker with ice cubes.
Measure 60 ml / 2 oz of pineapple juice with the measuring cup and pour into the shaker.
Add 10 ml / 0.3 oz of sugar syrup.
Put half of a lemon into the squeezer and press to release juice into the shaker.
Lock the shaker and shake it well, holding it with both hands by the bottom and by the cap. You should hold very tight or the shaker may open!
Shake until the shaker has beads of sweat on the outside.
Pour the mix from the shaker into the glass.
Garnish with a cocktail berry.
The Pineapple Sour is complete!
