Card with balloons
What you need:
1. Milky watercolor paper (with finely embossed texture).
2. Thick orange, green, dark green, rose, light rose, light lilac, blue, light blue and red paper.
4. Shaped scissors.
5. A ruler.
6. A pencil.
7. Lace (1/2” wide) (1-1.5 cm) with the words “Happy Birthday!”
9. Rose staples.
10. Orange and rose thin yarn.
11. Hole punch.
12. Double-sided tape.
13. Double-sided foam tape.
Get a A5 sheet of watercolor paper.
Fold it in half.
Using scissors and shaped scissors cut a blue stripe 1Х6” (2.5X15 cm).
Using shaped scissors cut from the blue paper a rectangle 2-1/4Х2-3/4” (5.5X7 cm).
Stick the tape to the stripe and the rectangle.
Adhere the rectangle and the stripe to the base of the card.
On the watercolor paper draw an oval 1-3/4Х2-1/4” (4.5X5.5 cm) and two balloons 1Х1-1/4” (2.5X3 cm).
Using shaped scissors cut the oval and cut the patterns of the balloons.
Stick the tape on the oval.
Adhere the oval to the blue rectangle.
Attach the lace (7”) (18 cm) over the blue stripe.
Bend the ends of the lace inside and fix them with the stapler.
Under the blue rectangle punch two holes.
Encircle balloons on the paper of 9 colors and cut them.
In the center of each balloon punch a hole. Don’t discard the punched circles.
Stick the foam tape to the balloons covering the holes.
Close the holes with the punched circles.
Cut off 5 rose and 4 orange parts of the yarn 12” (30 cm) long each.
Tie the ends of the yarn to the balloons.
Adhere the balloons to the card.
Divide the yarns into two parts. Pass the first part through the first hole and through the second one pull it out.
The other yarns pass through the second hole and through the first one pull it out.
Tie the yarns in a bow. Cut off the loose ends.
Get a light blue sheet of paper 6-1/4Х8-1/4” (16X21 cm) and fold it in half.
Stick the tape on the back side.
Adhere the light blue paper to the inside of the card.
