Take a square sheet of paper, fold it in half downward to make a crease and unfold.
Fold the paper in half sideways and unfold.
Fold the side edges to meet the center line and unfold.
Fold the top and the bottom edges to meet the center line and unfold.
Fold all four corners to the center and unfold.
Fold the four corners along the creases you’ve made, folding the diagonal creases inward.
Draw an eye in the middle of each of the top squares and a smile on two bottom squares.
Fold the top and bottom inner corners away from each other.
Draw squinting eyes and a frowning mouth. You may unfold one of the bottom squares
before drawing the mouth to make sure that you draw it on the same place.
Fold the squares back to the smiling face: first the eyes…
…and then the mouth.
Fold the side inner corners away from each other.
Draw closed eyes and a mouth that is neither smiling, nor frowning.
