The bitter taste of tonic and lemon juice with the coolness of mint. That’s what the Mint Tonic cocktail is all about. And its emerald green color will look good at a summer party.

Step 1: You will need (for one portion):
— sugar syrup — 10 ml / 0.3 oz
— mint syrup — 40 ml / 1.4 oz
— lemon juice — 60 ml / 2 oz
— tonic — 150 ml / 5 oz
— mint — 4 leaves
— string of lemon peel
— ice cubes
— sprig of mint

Necessary utensils:
— highball glass
— muddler
— ice tongs
— ice bucket
— jigger
— measuring cup

Step 2: Put four leaves of mint into the glass. Add 10 ml / 0.3 oz of sugar syrup.

Step 3: Mash it with the muddler.

Step 4: Fill the glass with ice cubes.

Step 5: Measure 40 ml / 1.4 oz of mint syrup with the jigger and pour into the glass.

Step 6: Measure 60 ml / 2 oz of lemon juice with the jigger and pour into the glass.

Step 7: Pour tonic into the glass until it is full.

Step 8: Stir with the spoon.

Step 9: Garnish with a string of lemon peel, a sprig of mint and cocktail straws.
The Mint Tonic is complete!
