Mai Tai How to make Drinks

Step 1: You will need (for one portion):
— light rum — 30 ml / 1 oz
— dark rum — 30 ml / 1 oz
— orgeat syrup — 15 ml / 0.5 oz
— mandarin syrup — 15 ml / 0.5 oz
— sugar syrup — 10 ml / 0.3 oz
— half of a lime
— pineapple wedge
— cocktail berry
— sprig of mint
— ice cubes

Necessary utensils:
— highball glass
— squeezer
— strainer
— ice tongs
— shaker
— jigger

Step 2: Fill the highball glass with ice cubes.

Step 3: Fill the shaker with ice cubes.

Step 4: Measure 30 ml / 1 oz of light rum with the jigger and pour it into the shaker.

Step 5: Measure 30 ml / 1 oz of dark rum with the jigger and pour it into the shaker.

Step 6: Pour 10 ml / 0.3 oz of sugar syrup into the shaker.

Step 7: Pour 15 ml / 0.5 oz of orgeat syrup into the shaker.

Step 8: Pour 15 ml / 0.5 oz of mandarin syrup into the shaker.

Step 9: Put half of a lime into the squeezer and press to release juice into the shaker.

Step 10: Lock the shaker and shake it well, holding it with both hands by the bottom and by the cap. You should hold very tight or the shaker may open!

Step 11: Shake until the shaker has beads of sweat on the outside.

Step 12: Pour the mix into the glass.

Step 13: Garnish with a pineapple wedge, a cocktail berry, a sprig of mint and cocktail straws.
