Card with a spaceship

Step 1: What you need:
1. Milky watercolor paper (with finely embossed texture).
2. Blue thick paper.
3. Golden, blue and red corrugated cardboard.
4. Green paper with stars.
5. Scissors.
6. A ruler.
7. A pencil.
8. A hole punch.
9. Double-sided tape.
10. Double-sided foam tape.

Step 2: Get a sheet of A5 watercolor paper.

Step 3: With the help of a ruler fold the paper crosswise in half.


Step 4: Double up the sheet of paper.

Step 5: Cut a rectangle 4X6” (10.5X15 cm) from a paper with stars.

Step 6: Stick the tape on the rectangle.

Step 7: Adhere the rectangle to the base of the card.


Step 8: Cut two stripes 1/2X4-1/8” (1X10.5 cm) and two stripes 1/2X6” (1X15 cm) from a blue corrugated cardboard.

Step 9: Stick the tape to the shorter stripes.

Step 10: Adhere the stripes to the top and bottom of the card leaving 1/2” (1 cm).

Step 11: Stick the foam tape to the longer stripes not touching the ends.

Step 12: Adhere the stripes to the sides of the card.

Step 13: Make patterns of a starship 3” (7 cm) long and 2” (4.5 cm) wide; arrows 5/8X2-1/4” (1.5X5.5 cm); stars 1-1/2” (4 cm); three diamonds 1/2X1” (1X2.5 cm).

Step 14: Cut a starship from the blue paper.

Step 15: Fold the starship in half, raising the wings.

Step 16: Fold the starship in half and punch two holes.

Step 17: Unfold the starship and stick the tape on the back side of the wings.


Step 18: Adhere the starship to the card.

Step 19: Cut the arrow from the watercolor paper, two diamonds from the red corrugated cardboard, and one diamond from the golden cardboard.

Step 20: To the bottom of the arrow stick the tape.

Step 21: Adhere the diamonds to the arrow (you’ll need the arrow for the wishes).

Step 22: Insert the arrow into the starship.

Step 23: Cut the stars from red and golden cardboard, including one little star.

Step 24: Stick foam tape to the stars.

Step 25: Adhere the stars to the blue stripes. The card is finished!
